4. Biography:

D.C. Douglas will forever be known as the sinister voice of Albert Wesker (“Resident Evil”), screaming “Chriiiisssss” as he melts in a lava lake.

This is a far cry from his other roles, such as the persnickety alien Zepht in “Star Trek: Enterprise” or the logical Legion in the “Mass Effect” videogame series. It’s especially a far cry from his groovy love-in beginnings in Berkeley, California, where he was born.

In 1996, DC was cast in a small role on the NBC pilot, “Boston Common.” The producers (of “Will & Grace” fame) liked his quirky versatility on-camera (and his loud laugh off-camera at the network run-thru) that he returned for 10 more episodes as the anal and humorless “D.C.” This became the catalyst to a long career in Los Angeles that encompasses film, TV and video games voice over credits include a national campaign for GEICO, voice matching Kevin Spacey for “Fred Clause” and Guy Pierce for “Factory Girl,” as well as voicing dozens of video game characters: The Master in “Buffy,” “The Vampire Slayer,” AWACS in “Ace Combat 6,” Archangel Michael in “Might & Magic Heroes VI,” Raven in “Tekken 6″ and “Street Fighter X Tekken,” and Albert Wesker in “Resident Evil: Umbrella,” & “Darkside Chronicles,” “Mercenaries,” “Capcom Versus Marvel 3” and “Resident Evil 5.” He gave voice to the Geth as Legion in “Mass Effect 2 & 3” and can be heard on the new kids cartoon series, “Transformers: Rescue Bots,” on The Hub.

Douglas’ anime credits include President Paradine in “Tales of Graces f.” Alexei Dinoia in “Tales of Vesperia.” Kelvin Garr in “Tales of the World,” Grimoire Noir in “Nier Replicant,” Gabi & Taihaku in “.hack Vol1 & 2,” Genji Kamogawa in “Hajime no ippo,” and Shori Shibuya in “God, Save Our King!”

Recent television appearances include “NCIS,” “Castle,” “Workaholics,” “Criminal Minds,” “NCIS: Los Angeles,” and “2 Broke Girls.” Highlight credits for fans of sci-fi, horror and fantasy include “Star Trek: Enterprise,” “Charmed,” “Passions,” “Titanic II,” “666: The Child,” and the cult hit, “Apocalypse Kiss” where he dons a rather Albert Wesker-like appearance.

On July 31st, look for him in “Sharknado 2” on SyFy and recurring on “The Young & The Restless.”

Rock Sugar Manager To Rep DC Douglas For Personal Appearances

Actor D.C. Douglas, known for voice over work in “Resident Evil” and “Mass Effect, ” as well as film and television roles, now repped by Jeff Zannini.

Hollywood, CA, April 12, 2012

Jeff Zannini, manager of the cult favorite mash-up band Rock Sugar, has picked-up DC Douglas for personal appearance bookings.

Douglas, a film and television actor, is also well-known for his work in videogames as the über-villain Albert Wesker in “Resident Evil” and as Legion in “Mass Effect” 2 and 3.

In cartoons, he’s gained popularity as the fastidious Chase in “Transformers: Rescue Bots” on The Hub.

Anime cons (or conventions) began booking voice actors from cartoons to appear as guests for fans to meet. It has since blossomed into a large industry, with cosplay, sci-fi and specialty cons around the world.

Douglas was picked-up by Tri-Star Booking several weeks ago for personal appearances under a non-exclusive agreement.

Douglas is scheduled to appear at the Florida SuperCon at the end of June. He is tentatively scheduled to also appear in Kentucky and Ohio afterwards, as well. More details to come.

You can book DC Douglas for your anime con or videogame con through Jeff Zannini, (978) 886-0966, Jeff Zannini Management.
