D.C. Douglas: Post Audition Thoughts

So you wanna be an actor, eh? Yeah, me too. And I’m still trying over three decades later. The thing about a film and television career is that you are always looking for your next gig (while trying to keep your day job as a waiter serving the people who rarely hire you!)
I was 38 before I could actually quit my day job – 18 years after moving to Los Angeles. Yet I still cross my fingers every month! Below are some candid moments after auditions, just to give you a feel of the good life! (A feel, no insight. I’m a dork with an iPhone.)
DC used to think that when his favorite song came on the radio while driving to an audition that he would book it. He eventually stopped listening to the radio.
